Florida Caverns State Park
This is one of the few state parks with dry (air filled) caves and is the only Florida state park to offer cave tours to the public. The cave has dazzling formations of limestone stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, flowstones, and draperies. Gulf Island National Seashore
The Seashore stretches 160 miles from Cat Island in Mississippi to the eastern tip of Santa Rosa Island in Florida. Temple Mound Museum
The Indian Temple Mound Museum and Park is a monument to native americans. The Indian Mound Temple originally served as a religous and civic center that has been preserved to this day. There are numerous exhibits that describe the trial and tribulations of native americans dating back 10,000 years.
