American Police Hall of Fame & Museum
The American Police Hall of Fame & Museum displays more than 10,000 items relating to law enforcement. Exhibits include a mock crime scene, a forensic area and specialty cars. Astronaut Memorial Planetarium & Observatory
Astronaut Memorial Planetarium & Observatory is 2.5 mi. e. of I-95 exit 201 on SR 520, then 1.75 mi. n. on SR 501 to 1519 Clearlake Rd. Visitors can look through a 24-inch telescope to see objects in the solar system and deep space. The International Hall of Space Explorers honors men and women from other countries who have flown in space. The Science Quest Demonstration Hall features hands-on space science exhibits. Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo features more than 550 animals representing some 165 species in regional habitats that include Florida, South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex was built in 1967 to allow the families of NASA astronauts and employees to view space center operations. The modern facility explores the past, present and future of the U.S. space program. The complex features multimedia displays and hands-on exhibits, IMAX films, spacecraft and artifacts, encounters with astronauts and behind-the-scenes tours. The Shuttle Launch Experience takes guest �crew members" on an incredible journey of vertically launching into space and orbiting earth aboard NASA's Space Shuttle. Admission to the complex includes a bus tour of NASA restricted areas, offering a view of the shuttle launch pads from the four-story LC 39 Observation Gantry. At the Apollo/Saturn V Center, visitors can walk beneath the 363-foot Saturn V rocket and watch footage of Neil Armstrong's history-making walk on the moon. The Firing Room Theater simulates an earth-shaking Apollo 8 rocket launch.
